Huitres en Nage Glacee - Beautiful! Ice Poached Oysters, Gelee, New Zealand Spinach. On special rare occasions, I get to treat myself to an extraordinary gourmet meal. These Ice Poached Oysters with Cream and a Gelatin made from the oyster's "liquor", made me speechless! I felt like I was a mermaid having an afternoon under the sea delicacy. Experiencing Chef Dominique Crenn's third and newest restaurant Bar Crenn was one of those rare treats for me.
One of the many things I enjoyed about Bar Crenn was the beautiful laser cut paper laced pearlescent metallic menu which names the chef of each dish. Michelin Star French Chef Guy Savoy was the creator of these outstanding salt-water bivalve molluscs. Chef Savoy has 2 restaurants in Paris and Las Vegas. It was great to experience one of his creations in The City.
